At Bottom Line, our primary focus is Continuous Profit Improvement through Lean Supply Chain Design. To meet this challenge, assignments are approached with performance measurements as defined by the client and as detailed in "Lean Roadmap".

The Lean Roadmap Process™ is designed specifically to support those manufacturing and distribution businesses with a strategy and drive to become…

“The Supplier of Choice in the Marketplace”

"Lean Roadmap" is a logical supply chain design consisting of 11 building blocks covering both material and information flow through the supply chain. The 11 building blocks defined in "Lean Roadmap" are tested processes and techniques focused on assisting our clients in becoming the low cost, high quality, on time supplier of choice in their target markets.

"Lean Roadmap" for those businesses with the following profile:

• Eliminate or significantly reduce both work in process and finished goods inventory,
• Reduce manufacturing lead times from weeks to days/hours,
• Convert from a forecast for finished goods inventory to an assemble or make to order business,
• Significantly improve customer on time delivery (to the customers date),
• Reduce floor space required making room for additional product lines with the same bricks and mortar,
• Seamless scheduling of customer orders at order entry without rescheduling after your MRP system runs,     and the customer is gone,
• Significant reduction in business system MRP/ERP complexity and requirement for excessive overhead,        coupled with a restructuring of your current MRP/ERP business software for lean, preserving the     investment value,
• Mixed model 1 piece flow cellular manufacturing,
• Point of use inventory at the production cells controlled at the point of assembly, and managed/reordered     by the people who assemble/manufacture the product,
• Inventory replacement via kanban only material consumed by the customer is reordered,
• Control and improvement of performance measurements at the manufacturing cells.

Lean Roadmap, is a methodical, logical, and intuitive process that consists of primary routes,
