Objective: To give business leaders a forum for a meaningful discussion of Lean. A high level two- way  communication platform for development of an understanding of lean, benefits, management,  difficulties encountered, primary building blocks required.

Business leaders need to understand the critical few elements of Lean and not the trivial many;
we will focus on those few critical elements of Lean as regards executive leadership

Agenda:
1. An Open discussion with business leaders and Howard M. Thomes and or William Carreira, authors of "Lean     Roadmap" and "Lean Tools that Really Work". The discussion will include items such as,

a. What is lean?
b. Not seeing benefits from an ongoing Lean implementation?
c. Where do we start?
d. How do I measure the results?
e. What knowledge level do I need to have to know if we are on track?
f. We are seeing great results; here is how we are doing it.

2. What level of Lean knowledge does the business executive require?
3. An overview of Lean (11 building blocks)
4. Establishing Business Performance Measurements for Lean?
5. Lean leaders within the organization, assigning key elements of Lean to internal leaders, gaining consistency,     speed and results.
6. Summary discussion within the group.

 

Each person attending will receive: “Lean Roadmap by Howard M. Thomes ” and "Lean Tools that Really work" by William Carreira.

Attendee Profile: executives who are engaged in management of a business and have a need to understand how to manage a Lean design and implementation to obtain required results.
