The what if calculator gives you many options to select prior to calculating kanbans, and printing cards. All items, uses all information imported, and calculates kanbans for all items, and loads information for reports and printing of cards, regardless of the magnitude of the change from the last calculation.

What if Calculator

Referring to the above example;

• Both items are selected--both manufactured and purchased items will be calculated
• % change and quantity change allow you to define the magnitude of change for printing of new cards
• Std cost, and on hand quantity will be used to calculate inventory change $ in reports


Recalculate Kanbans
The information listed to the left, is required to calculate kanbans, and is imported from your MRP/ERP software for each kanban part.

Recalculate Kanbans
During the calculation process, Kanban Manager will scan all cells and assure that proper fill has taken place and that all required fields are populated with data--this process assures that the data map from the host to Kanban Manager is correct in atleast data mapping.

Export Kanbans
The fields to the left are created in a table, and exported to a flat file. That flat file is then imported into your MRP/ERP software. The Reorder/Kanban quantity is inserted into the order quantity for the part in the item master record for the part.
