Lean as a methodology for business improvement is basic and intuitive. The two books listed below demonstrate the ease at which Lean is designed and implemented, as well as how successful it can be.

"Lean Roadmap" by Howard M. Thomes
"Lean Tools that Really Work" by William Carreira

Bottom Line Consultants, Inc. has developed three Lean learning sessions for the specific purpose of simplifying and describing to you the logical building block steps required to achieve your goals for a Lean business.

For example, did you know that in a matter of a week, employees at your business can quantify savings, improvements, costs to implement and time required to implement, and do it will accuracy?

Did you know that every employee in your business are potential industrial engineers who want to not only perform their own duties, but assist in the design and implementation of Lean?

If Lean was not easy to define, implement and use in everyday work, do you think the employees in your business would go along with it? No, they will not let you do anything that makes the work more difficult, or sacrifices quality.

Think about this, Lean is about removing complexity and wasteful practices, big and small, the result is a simplified, cost effective process.

And Lean applies to all facets of the business, the shop, front office, distribution and suppliers.

We are in a dog fight with global competitors, who today can use the internet to buy, sell and reverse auction to lower costs, to stay profitable and in business, we must eliminate cost from our businesses. It is not going to get easier to compete unless you are focused on top line growth at margin, cost reduction through Lean, and management of capital invested.

We designed these three learning sessions to convey knowledge to business executives, and to employees who will be leading and participating in improving both material flow through the supply chain, and information flow through the supply chain.

The learning will focus on the critical few, and not the trivial many. We have been amazed over the years at how poorly businesses have designed and implemented Lean, with some actually getting worse.

The four people who facilitating the learning exchange for Bottom Line Consultants, Inc. are professionals who have achieved career success at "real jobs", and have experienced and led business improvement in both the "real job" environment and as Lean design/implementation facilitators. Two of the presenters are the authors of the books listed at the top of the page.

One of our greatest accomplishments over time has been the feedback from clients who are very pleased with the improvements achieved, and the employee participation in both the design and implementation of Lean.

Attendees the sessions will receive either"Lean Roadmap" or"Lean Tools that Really Work" Each business participating in the 2 day sessions will also receive Lean software eitherKanban Manager, or Sales & Operations Manager.

Please join us in the appropriate learning session(s). This small investment of time and money on your part has the potential to reap great rewards for you and your business over time.
