Supplier 1 Line per Item MRP Planning Report (Output as a result of S&OP)
 
The supplier 1 line per item planning report is extracted directly from the MRP/ERP software, after the forecast has been entered and MRP/ERP processed. The report is formatted by supplier and can be sent in a digital file, or posted to a website or as an attachment to an email.

 
The supplier 1 line per item report is used to reduce the lead time from a supplier by giving the supplier sufficient information to plan production and reduce their lead time to that of packaging and shipping time once a release has been triggered.
 
The supplier 1 line report contains
 
  1. Contact information from the ordering contact
  2. The supplier contact information
  3. The date of the report
  4. Part #s being ordered and the kanban quantity
  5. The planned quantity for the next few weeks, and for the next few months.

This report is sent to suppliers weekly, or when a major change in the business occurs that affects the suppliers.


Note, next weeks requirement is likely to be actual demand with little to no forecast and can be ordered as the inventory requir4ed for next weeks scheduled build plan
